One heads-up before you install
Windows will show a “Windows protected your PC” screen when you run the installer. That is SmartScreen being cautious with apps from small teams like ours while we are in beta, not a problem with your download.
Click More info, then Run anyway, and Buddy takes it from there.

How it connects
Install and open Buddy
Run the installer, get past the SmartScreen nudge, and Buddy opens on your desktop.
Grab a code on your phone
Open Aura, head to Settings, then tap Link this PC. You will see an 8-character code.
Type the code into Buddy
Enter it on your PC and you are linked. Same memory, same friend, bigger screen.
The code expires in 5 minutes. If it does, grab a fresh one and try again.
Don’t have Aura yet?
Buddy on desktop pairs with your Aura account, so you will want the app first. We are in private beta right now. Join the waitlist and we will reach out. That is kind of our whole thing.
